The BSSC Tennis program is an active group of approximately 100-120 tennis players of all levels. Tennis players are welcome to join us every Sunday from 9:00AM until Noon at Corona del Mar High School. Call Dolly Steward for more information. Play varies from doubles to mixed doubles and is always pretty darn good (and fun) tennis. Just show up and make yourself known. We conduct social events like "King/Queen of the Hill" mixers, followed by barbeques; we hold tournaments with different types of formats, followed by some type of brunch or dinner; we have different tennis "clinics" for both improvement and ratings; we do "exchanges" with other tennis groups and tennis clubs; and we organize various "out of area" weekend trips to different resorts like Palm Springs, Morgan Run, Rio Bravo, Las Vegas and other popular locales. Our local events are held at different tennis facilities around Orange County, including
the Balboa Bay Club, Newport Beach Tennis Club, Los Caballeros Tennis Club, and many other locations. New
guests are welcome to attend any of the events (usually a surcharge and club
members always have priority if space is limited).
